Objectives of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Applications

1. Efforts are made to instill a love for the specialization among department students by clarifying the importance of mathematics and its use in all scientific fields.
2. Prepare outstanding students as a first step towards completing their higher education to obtain a master’s and doctoral degree due to the need for this rare specialization.
3. Prepare specialized personnel to work in various state institutions in the fields of mathematics, computer science, operations research, and statistics.
4. Additionally, graduates are encouraged to work as research assistants in mathematics and computer science departments at universities, as there is still a need for them to work as teachers in secondary education.
