Mathematics, as applications, plays an extremely important role in various aspects of life and other diverse fields of knowledge such as psychology, astronomy, medical, economic, engineering sciences, and more. With the university administration’s direction to open new specializations in fields of knowledge to serve as a fundamental support for advancing education and scientific development in service of the country, our motto becomes “Mathematics in Service of All.” The department, with every effort from its members, seeks to graduate students of high competence level through a scientific curriculum and sound planning, following the latest advanced scientific methodologies. This aims to prepare outstanding students as a first step towards completing their higher education to obtain both master’s and doctoral degrees.
