in the name of God, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful, It gives me great pleasure to extend a hearty welcome to all of you on behalf of the teaching staff of the Physics Department of Al-Muthanna University’s College of Science,. As the College of Science’s first scientific department, it was established in the academic year 2001–2002. Since then, the department has confidently moved forward with academic and scientific development to accomplish its goals and improve the college’s standing at the university level. Our goal is to stay up to date with developments since we think that concentrating on all areas of physics is crucial to improving community service and development.
Furthermore, the department has developed into a qualified department with distinguished scientific cadres in various specializations who hold graduate degrees from the best international, Arab, and local universities, which enriches knowledge. This has been due to the direct support of the esteemed Professor Dr. Laith Abdel Hassan Muhammad, the Dean of the College of Science, as well as the supervision and follow-up of the esteemed Professor Dr. Hussein Kamel Al-Shaher, the President of the University of Al Muthanna. This enriches the students in the department and their backgrounds at various study levels.
